Qualitative Research Organizational Change Management

Question: Discuss bout the Qualitative Research for Organizational Change Management. Answer: The topic of the article clearly states the purpose of the write-up. The reason is presented as why and the way is represented as how of the strategy change. The authors mentioned the name of the organization in the topic of the article. Objective of the article The objectives of the article are presented in the introduction part. The authors have stated that the article will evaluate the personnel management and development practices that will help in sustainable organization to be market driven. The main aim of the articles is to identify ways that will help in uniting the human resources in the organizations and the business strategy of the organization. The authors state that human resources will talk about the how and the business strategy will talk about why of the strategy change. However, it would have been better if the objective and the aim of the article would have been written in a separate paragraph (Hillier, 2012). If the objectives and the aim were written separately, it would have been easier for the readers to identify those specific sections (Pickard, 2012). Methodology and means of analysis used in the article The authors have not mentioned the methodology of the article and the ways of analysis of data in the article. Whenever a research is carried out, it is necessary to make the readers aware of the methods that have been taken into consideration by the authors (Cohen, Manion, Morrison, 2013). The types of sampling done, the methods of collecting data, and the types of data that has been collected are mentioned in that particular section. The means of analysis will also be helpful for the readers to understand the analysis of the data well (Tarone, Gass, Cohen, 2013). However, the article is giving an idea that the authors have taken into consideration the secondary data to complete the research. In addition to this, the qualitative data has been taken into consideration in the article. There is no presence of any statistical data or analysis in the entire report. Argument advanced in the article The authors have not presented any perspective that will speak against the actions that have been taken into consideration by the organization, Thorns Lighting. However, the authors argue that an organization should make the HR of the organization strong to bring in the changes in the organization. If the employees are well equipped, they will be able to deal with any kind of change in the organization (Bratton Gold, 2012). Conclusions/findings of the article The conclusion section of the article is well arranged by separating the findings into different paragraphs. Customer oriented strategy has been described in the first paragraph. The first paragraph point that the strategy was customer-oriented. The second paragraph points that the improper implementation of a strategy can result in failure even if the strategy is perfect. The third paragraph point out that features of HR that is helpful for the change. The fourth paragraph points out the culture of the organization. The fifth paragraph points out the training program for the employees in the organization that will help in proper implementation of the strategy. The authors have ended the articles by mentioning the areas that the future researchers might explore and take the present research further (Maxwell, 2012). Implications for managers/management during organizational change processes The implications for the managers or the management while an organization is going through the change are mentioned properly in the article. The authors have mentioned that the work of the employees should be recognized in the organization. In addition to this, any change should be directed towards customer satisfaction. The manager should align the HRD with the business strategy so that the employees can help in proper change in the organization (Purce, 2014). The managers can make use of the idea that had been presented by Slater and Narver. The managers who are implementing the change should know the link between proper business performance, organizational learning, customer-oriented strategy and personnel-centered approach (D'Cruz, Noronha, Beale, 2014). Any change in the organization can be achieved in an effective manner when all these four factors are considered. . Strength and weakness of the essay The strength of the essay is that the author has briefly described the words that are used in the title of the essay. On the other hand, the weakness of the topic of the article is not presented in the evaluated part. The strength of the part that talks about the objectives is that it clearly mentions the objectives and the aims that have been taken into consideration by the authors. The objectives of the article could have been to see the effect of strategy on the profit of the organization as well. This section was not mentioned and the weakness of the evaluation is that it has not been pointed out in the essay. The strength of the methodology section analyses the importance of methodology techniques used in the essay. The weakness of the section is that it assumes that the authors have used qualitative data and concentrated on secondary research. The strength of the section part that evaluates the conclusion of the articles is that it has talked about the five points that have been identified by the authors after carrying out the research. The weakness is that it does not mention the area where the future researchers can do further research. The strength of the section that evaluates the implication for the managers talks about all the point that the managers should take into consideration while bringing the change. The weakness of the section is that it does not evaluate the model that has been used for implementation of the strategy in the organization. The strength of the section that deals with the arguments presented in the article is that it points to the main point of the article that the employees can bring the effective changes in the organization. The weakness of the section is that that it does not draw other factors like, customer satisfaction, which is also a part of the change. References Bratton, J., Gold, J.
